For the LOVE of letterpress and bookbinding!
Jennifer is a book artist and letterpress printer. Her signature style ranges from the bold and colorful to crisp monotone.
A move to Los Angeles is where Jennifer discovered her love for Letterpress printing and bookmaking. Always enamored by the look and feel of letterpress, she had no idea about the process of letterpress printing. Over a period of time consistently throwing herself into taking classes and spending countless hours honing her skills in the lab, she secured a part-time job working in the Laboratory Press studio at Otis College of Art and Design. Along the way, Jennifer began assisting in a Book Structures class and entered her journey as a bookbinder. Since then Jennifer continues to experiment, push boundaries, grow her practice, AND began sharing her love of letterpress and bookmaking to others through teaching.
Jenn’s Others in the Top 10 LOVES:
God, family, friends, music, reading, traveling, giving back, and good food...not necessarily in any order;)
